Last offseason I reported that Dario Saric signed a “2+1” contract with Anadolu Efes, which meant that the contract contained a buyout at the conclusion of his 2nd season, which ends in 2016.

Since then, there has been much speculation over whether or not Saric could potentially come over after 1 season.

Speaking to OTE TV after the Euroleague’s Top 16, Saric reiterated that he had at least another season left on his contract.

“I have a contract with Efes until 2016. That’s what I can say about my situation right now. I will fight for Efes and hope to win some titles”

While things can sometimes change, as Sixers fans saw when Furkan Aldemir left Galatasaray amid financial concerns, don’t expect Dario Saric to be in a Sixers uniform in 2015-16.
