Emmanuel Mudiay is expected to work out for the Sixers, reports SNY.tv’s Adam Zagoria.

While the exact date of the workout is not yet known, it is expected to be after Mudiay works out for the Lakers and the Knicks, Zagoria also reports.

Mudiay, a 6’5″ point guard, has spent the last year playing over in China. He appeared in 12 games for Guangdong, averaging 18 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 5.9 assists per game, while shooting 51.4% from 2 point range, 34.2% from three point range, and 57.4% from the free throw line.

Mudiay’s jump shot would be the biggest challenging in building a team around him, especially when pairing him with Joel Embiid. That being said, the quick, athletic guard does a good job of getting into the lane and is a legitimate top-5 selection in June 25th’s draft.

I have kept a running list of players the Sixers have either worked out, attended group workouts for, or interviewed. You can view that list here.
